What do you love most about RAW Training?

The community. The people at RAW amaze me everyday with their kindness, generosity, and determination. It is a family. The clients here constantly seek to better themselves through fitness, while supporting one another in their journeys within and outside of RAW.

Why is exercise and physical fitness so important to you?

I've seen exercise literally change lives. In contrast, I've also seen the lack of physical activity and nutritional awareness result in life-altering illness. Fitness means something different for everyone. For me, it is a way to challengrme myself, and a way to destress. But for anyone, exercise gives the opportunity improve daily life, relationships, and personal wellbeing.

What excites you the most when being a coach?

Lightbulb moments: When a movement, or an idea, "clicks" with an athlete. When someone recognizes that his body now moves with greater range of motion, greater speed, and he has attained the ability to do something he never imagined. When clothes fit differently, or doctor appointments become less scary and more exciting. Then as a coach, you can witness an athlete flourish and become as passionate about fitness as you are.

How has exercise and fitness impacted your life?

I cannot remember a time when I was not an athlete. I always wanted to try something new to test myself. I am so grateful for those opportunities, especially as a female athlete, and hope I've been able to positively influence other women as a teammate, friend, and coach. I want others to experience what I have, and to see their endless potential. Fitness is a lifestyle that encompasses so much more than exercise; it is a stepping stone to better health. Ultimately it has altered my outlook and career path.
