Realize the Athlete Within Training, LLC (or R.A.W. Training) is a personal training program which offers unconventional training methods that allow our clients to take their fitness to the next level. Our concept is to provide the top athletic training techniques using a broad range of equipment in a unique way to everyone, regardless of age or physical ability. Our certified trainers offer athletes and athletic-minded people of all ages and abilities a full range of training options.
Getting Started | Fundamentals
Before joining RAW, all new clients are required to complete our Fundamentals Program (unless you have previous CrossFit experience). Our Fundamentals course comprises of a mandatory 5 sessions (delivered 2 times a week over a two and a half week period) the emphasis is placed on skill development and exposure to the basic movements. We have developed our Fundamentals program here at RAW and designed it to set you up for success in our main group workouts.
The Fundamentals program is open to ANY SKILL LEVEL. You do not need to get in shape before coming.
Once you have completed our Fundamentals program then you can begin attending On-Ramp classes. This will help integrate you into our workout community, prepare you for the regular classes and set you up for success with your workouts.
We also want you to know that although the registration requires payment to secure your spot, you can consider your first session at RAW is a FREE session and that we offer a 100% refund if you attend your first session and decide that RAW isn't for you.
Cost for 5 Small Group sessions is $155.
- RAW is so much more than a gym. I cannot put into words how much the RAW community means to me...I have made amazing friends and truly appreciate the coaches.Furthermore, as a working mom, with a husband that travels for work, a 6 year old, and 3 year old twins, RAW is literally the only hour-ish of my day for me. When i started CrossFit I thought I was strong. I was humbled very quickly seeing all the strong athletes here at RAW.Raw is like no other gym/community I have ever been to. My son went off to college a few years ago and I told him that I gained his freshman 20 pounds for him. I was very intimidated the first time I showed up for the Rebuild class. I thought that I would never be able to keep up with everyone and do all the exercises Lori and Kate had scheduled for the class. RAW has helped me to get in the best shape of my life and lose 50 pounds. With a lot of encouragement from the staff, I have managed to accomplish more than I thought possible for someone who was as out of shape as myself.
RAW is a special place that has challenged me in every way possible both physically and mentally. Not only did I find a place to get my fitness on, I found a supportive team and friends who have pushed me to do things beyond what I thought was possible. Pushing each other through a terrible WOD together and that sense of accomplishment and victory we all feel when we hit the floor panting is truly a unique bonding experience. RAW has a coaching staff that truly cares about helping you reach your goals and assisting you to become the athlete you wish to become even after two kids. They recognize that athletic talent can be seen at any age, level or competitive level. Raw has awakened the former competitive athlete I once was and used that competitive drive to make my fitness experience fun and functional.
